Force

Hi, my name is Darren Bennett a.k.a. The “Mighty” Force.

I come from a martial arts background but had always wanted to learn to b-boy as it is an incredible dance that has no limits or boundaries. When I moved to Bath in 2001 I joined the breaking society at the university. The better I got at breaking, the more it grew on me and the more I wanted to train.

When b-boy Splendid moved to Bath in October 2002 I invited him to come training with the society in Bath. In return, when he moved to Bristol he invited me to come training and participate in shows with the Physical Jerks crew which he was now a member of.

During the summer of 2004, I was asked if I would like to join the Physical Jerks crew and I was privileged to do so.

My style is high energy and integrates powerful dynamic movements into my dance.
